A wonderful write Connie! I really related to every line and your grace notes reinforced the feelings the poem gave me. it is all beautifully written but this stanza in particular really stood out for me:

'There is no place to hide

this invisible, invincible soul

of mine

not in the recessed margins

nor the footnotes

nor the ellipsis

of time.'
