I Am In Need

It is so simple my life
since I turned my eyes towards the view
towards the picture, of you
everywhere I look, shades of blue

simple hues, cool tones
the colour of my hours
indigo skies enfolding the days
azure miles, sapphire streams all around

I am sinking into the depths
the never ending fathoms of your eyes
the open sea of my desire
violet velvet folds, rolling on forever

my wishes, as bluebirds on the wing
cyan sketches of you in my minds eye
hyacinth skies spinning me around
bluegrass scents fill me up

those endless shades of blue
and I am in need
of you
