I feel this Kristina! I think most writers feel this way at times. I know that I certainly did a long time ago. I had to remind myself that when I first started writing (as a child) I did it just for me. No-one ever saw my scribbles or my drawings and I was okay with that. As I got older that pattern remained. So when I started publishing my work and realised that feedback was often non-existent, it was a bit off putting. But I now have returned to the philosophy of writing because I want to and I need to. If people read and enjoy my work it makes me happy. If they do not respond I try to just put it down to people having busy lives and the way various platforms present content to potential readers. If I am happy with it then I have done my job!
