Jacki this is absolutely beautiful! From the first stanza and the reference to life beginning in black and white 'until life drips color' in varied forms to bending to fit in holes never meant for us to filling ourselves on other people's poet trees (brilliant line that one!) to beautified bullshit and hanging suspended in our own darkness to the chrysalis of awakening (where did that come from?!) to beautiful butterlfies drawn to the light (sigh) enduring struggle to be strong enough to fly (yes!) and back to the colors dripping and accepting being instead of needing to be (wowowwowowowow!!) The final line is perfection! A wonderful wonderful read!
