Sometimes

…dreams deceive

I dream
that sometimes
you belong to me

our sky is blue
with shades of grey
our clouds are tipped
with crimson
our cherry trees
burdened with blossoms
sweetly shadowed
by the falling light
our seasons yet to flow
like the birds
that fly to live
in warmer climes

I dream
that sometimes
you belong to me
but sometimes
dreams deceive
