This is a beautiful, thoughtful write Kunal and I enjoyed every line! the imagery invokes so many pictures and feelings for me and in particular, I enjoyed how you gave the grass a personality, especially with these lines:

'I was married to uncertainty when I sprouted up from the earth

and it’s a marriage we both will be in for the rest of my life.

But, I must confess: I’m polygamous.

I’m also married to awe and curiosity.'
